Introduction
The SMS Machine Web (SMS Machine/WEB - SMSs receiving and managing station - Version 5) is the more powerful and flexible SMS receiving and transmitting system in the range of SMS Machine.
The basic functions already supports most of the needs in managing the SMS messages:
text filtering, polls, statistics, storing of SMS sender numbers, sending address books, broadcast communications, filtering spam messages and more.
For any other more specific or particular function, a special mechanism for extension by plugin is designed to fulfil these needs.
In the following part of this article, the plug-in for the general purposes, which are available for the SMS Machine Web, will be introduced.
Any other need could be fulfilled by a new customized plug-in that we can develop according to your specifications.
Automatic forward by email
This plugin allows you to automatically forward received messages by the SMS Machine to one or more email addresses according to predefined rules.
For each sender, you can define one or more e-mail addresses for forwarding.
When the SMS Machine will receive a SMS text message from one of the numbers listed, then it will forward automatically to the email boxes.
Moreover each configured forwording can be individually enabled and disabled.
You can also define an email address that receives all the messages whose senders are not listed in the forwarding table.
Automatic Responder
This plugin allows you to automatically reply to incoming messages according to predefined rules.
The SMS text is searched in the table of keys and, when matching the corresponding, the response message is forwarded to the sender.
You can also define a response that is sent to those messages which have not found any matching in the corresponding table.
Anonymous SMS-chat for shows and discos
The anonymous chat plugin allows you to realize a messages exchange between users so both the sender and the receiver don't know
the phone number of the counterparty.
This plugin can be used in public situations such as discos, parties, conventions to realize SMS messages exchanges
between users and games without revealing your mobile number.
For each user, at the moment of "registration" in the chat, is assigned a code that can be found for example on a sticker, a pin, a t-shirt that he/she wears.
The correspondence the matches the assigedn code to the mobile phone number of the use user is stored in the SMS Machine.
From this moment on, the user is authorized to send messages to other codes.
He will simply have to put the user code of the recipient before the message text, then SMS Machine will act as forwarding "bridge".
The recipient can receive: an indication of the sender in the message (semi-anonymous chat) and then he can reply;
or just the message (completely anonymous chat).
Of course the plugin includes the users management (adding, enabling, removal) and the lists displaying of messages exchange.
Other plugin
The functions implemented by plug-ins are virtually unlimited and simply dictated by the needs of the user.
For example, it's possible to realize systems for filtering and automatic relaying of SMS based on the text content
to reach different offices of a company.
Another interesting possibility of the plugin system is creating interfaces for control and remote sensing systems via SMS.
In fact, if you have devices on the field which communicate the collected data by SMS, you can create a "analyzer" plugin
for such messages retieving data and storinig them in a database or forward them to the target application.
