The EZL-50 is an embedded serial (TTL level) converter for Ethernet data
transmission via 10Base-T and the EZL-60 is a development kit for the EZL-50 module.
The EZL-70 is a new device: TTL or RS232/422/485 serial converter equipped with Ethernet connector
on a very small and integrable module.
EZL-50 - Embedded module for a conversion of a serial TTL signal
to an Ethernet network data signal, available also EZL-50L version
EZL-60 - Development kit with the EZL-50 module onboard,
RS-232 serial port, the RJ45 connector for direct connection to the
Ethernet network, power supply section
As you can see in the following pictures,
the embedded EZL-50 converter is connected to the device communicating via serial TTL (5V level) transmission.
The outline is the same using EZL-60 module: it is connected to the device communicating via serial
RS-232 transmission.
On the other hand, the EZL-70 module may be used in different ways simply configuring properly the serial
port according to the communication to be supported.
Opposite side is represented by the Ethernet device or Hub, Switch or Router,
which makes the serial port accessible to the Ethernet network and can be
communicated from any PC connected to the network or Internet.

The EZL-50 Modules
EZL-50 module is an embedded converter of an Ethernet interface to the
serial port (TTL) supporting UDP/IP and TCP/IP. Connection to the Ethernet standard
10Base-T (network with UTP cables) needs using the external signal transformer
and then UTP RJ45 connector itself (transformer is supplied on request with the
module).
EZL-50 is intended for conversion of a serial data signal in TTL (5V) voltage
level and is suitable for direct connection to the serial line of your devices
(CPU, microcontrollers, modem, etc.)
EZL-50 version has four uploadable firmwares for each operation mode.
EZl-50L version has one single configurable firmware.

The EZL-60 development kit
EZL-60 is a development kit for the EZL-50 module inserted on board.
The EZL-60 allows immediate EZL-50 module testing and its
programming via RS-232 or Ethernet network before installation into a specific
device. There are fastening slots bore in the printed circuit of the kit so it
can be screwed to any device.

The EZL-70 Module
EZL-70 module is an embedded converter of an Ethernet interface to the different kinds
of serial port supporting UDP/IP and TCP/IP. Connection to the Ethernet standard
10Base-T (network with UTP cables) is realized by the on board RJ45 connector.
EZL-70 is intended for serial data conversion on different interfaces, 5V-TTL and RS232/422/485,
to make connection to a wide range of devices very easy.
Moreover very small dimensions, on board power supply section, 2.54mm connection pin strip and
fastening slots bore in the printed circuit make the EZL-70 suitable for simple integration
in your devices.

General notes
ezVSP (Virtual Serial Port) installation is conditioned by ownership of at least one
module. In fact during installation it is necessary to enter the MAC address of the module
and a Key which is obtained by a registration on Sollae webpage

The connection of the module's serial port and the application must be
performed by so called "null mode" cable (crossed cable). That means connection of the RxD -
TxD and RTS - CTS pins on both ends of the connecting cable.
